Frequently Asked Questions
The following are a number of frequently asked questions, which I hope will support you in finding the information you are looking for. If you have any other questions that you wish to ask please do not hesitate to get in touch with me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
How long does each therapy session take?
The initial assessment session is 60 minutes and the ongoing treatment sessions are 50 minutes.
Do you work with children or adults?
I currently work only with adults age 18+ who live in the United Kingdom.
How often should I have therapy?
To start with most people will have weekly or fortnightly appointments to support you in getting the most out of your sessions. I also have clients who opt for monthly top up sessions following the main part of their therapy. Ultimately I want to be flexible and will consider each person individually.
How many sessions will I need?
The amount of sessions needed hugely depends on how long you have been experiencing your problems for, as well as what you would like to work on. Sessions usually vary from 8 - 20 sessions, with some people choosing to have longer term support working on multiple problems.
How are therapy sessions provided?
All the therapy I provide is done through phone or video call. The majority of clients use video call and this has been proven to be just as effective as face to face therapy with a huge number of benefits such as being in the comfort of your own home and savings on your time and costs of getting to a venue.
How much do the sessions cost?
Initial Assessment (60 minutes) - £80
Individual Treatment Sessions (50 minutes) - £75
Block of four Treatment Sessions - £280 (£70 each)
